WHATS IS HAMMOCK AND WAVE?
At Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana, you can now choose your ideal escape with two new dedicated resorts: Hammock and Wave. The Hammock side of the property is adults-only, with a dedicated pool, restaurant, and bar, plus plenty of room to elevate every moment of your escape. The Wave side of the property delivers the perfect getaway for adults and families, with family-friendly activities, experiences, and services — all paired with the award-winning Island Reserve Inclusive experience our properties are known for. No matter what kind of vacation you’re dreaming of, Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana has something for everyone.
WHAT IS JOE MERCHANT’S AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
- A first-of-its-kind offering, Joe Merchant’s Coffee & Provisions allows guests to customize their in-room bars with their favorite foods and drinks.
- Browse traditional minibar offerings as well as premium beverages, snacks, and charcuterie items.
- To shop, you’ll use points (included in your stay) that are loaded onto your wristband/room key upon check-in.
- Guests will receive points based on room category and the number of nights booked. Points are redeemable at Joe Merchant’s Coffee & Provisions. (Travelers Club members will receive 20% more points than non-members.)
- Guests can choose whether they want their children to have access to points.
- The Coffee Shop includes complimentary premium coffees, sandwiches, pastries, a yogurt bar, and ice cream.
- Guests can opt to have provisions delivered to their rooms upon request (for a service charge of $10 USD).
- Points are only redeemable at Joe Merchant’s and expire if not used during the stay.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Resorts by Karisma will be Margaritaville’s first group of all-inclusive resorts, which will be some of the largest and most luxurious beachfront properties in its growing hospitality portfolio. The new resort concept combines Karisma’s renowned service and incredible food and beverage program with Margaritaville’s authentic sense of escapism, signature food and beverage concepts, and iconic design elements.

Children of all ages are always welcome at the resort. We offer Parakeets Kids’ Club with complimentary, supervised daily programming for children aged 4-12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
